Hotel heiress Paris Hilton, who has been sentenced to 45 days in jail for driving with a suspended license, was in Hollywood's Bodhi Tree bookstore getting a few Buddhism books. Earlier this week, with the covers of every book conveniently facing the paparazzi cameras, "The Simple Life" star was spotted clutching the Bible and more self-help manuals. Hilton is due to begin her sentence at California's female-only Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, Californis on June 5th.

Paris Hilton told the judge at her sentencing that she was very sorry and that she would "pay complete attention to everything" from now on. The socialite claimed she did not know her license had been suspended when caught driving without headlights in February. According to papers filed in Los Angeles' Superior Court, Hilton was stopped by California Highway Patrol officers on January 15th and informed she was driving on a suspended license.

The 26-year-old then signed a document acknowledging she was not allowed to drive. On February 27th, Paris Hilton was stopped by Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department for speeding on Sunset Boulevard with her car's headlights off and charged with violating her probation.
