Topshop has recently released their 2010 Spring Collection and after having a quick browse, I think I can safely say that this will not be the last you'll see of Floral! I'm actually really liking this new collection, because its totally different from their previous collection of graphic prints, retro Americana style pieces or metallic leggings which I wasn't particularly into. This year's one is certainly looking promising and what's more, is that they're using Kiki Kang as one of their Ad Campaigner

At first glance, you can definitely tell that Kiki Kang is completely different from other Asian models in the industry. Unlike the majority, she has a healthy tan and a unique face that can easily be distinguished. The 18 year old from Sichuan, China has made her name through several fashion shows such as Tsumori Chisato, Jean Paul Gautier and Hermes.

And as mentioned before, Kiki has recently scored an impressive ad campaign with Topshop. Although she's still not incredibly well-known, she definitely has a fresh and versatile look that sets her aside from other typical fair complexioned Asian models.

At the age of 21, she's walked for Diesel, was the face of Topshop's S/S 2010 campaign and has been in countless editorials. Her 'Midas Touch' editorial for Harper's Bazaar Singapore's December issue is simply gorgeous. Between the clothing, epic winged eyeliner look and her face, this is giving me life in all sorts of ways.

Vogue China has always been more inclusive of non-Chinese models compared to the other Vogue titles, and here you have Tao Okamoto (Japanese) on the list of top Asian models. I would loved to have seen Lakshmi Menon (Indian) or a South Korean representative (Hye Park, Han Jin and/or Hyun Yi Lee) included in the mix.
